4 Reasons I'm More Motivated Than I've Been in MONTHS

đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.

A few things have come together recently that have fired up my motivation to levels I haven’t felt in months, and they may be able to help you too.

I’ve narrowed it down to four things, and then I’ll close with one danger.

First, I gotta say that a big part of the spike in motivation I’ve felt recently has come from getting better sleep. It’s not exciting, but it’s foundational.

Zombies are extremely unmotivated for the most part.

Second, it’s actually been these daily accountability emails to you right here.

Knowing that I’m going to have to lay out exactly what I’ve done over the last 24 hours to move closer to my stated goals has helped me get more done, push through a few necessary things I did NOT want to do, and even admitting to you where I’ve fallen short is helping to combat my perfectionism.

The third thing that has electrified my motivation these past few days is the new Competitive Advantage community on Skool.

Just having everybody in there, sharing wins, coming together in support of each other - I mean we JUST started and it’s already been one of the things I’m most proud of in 2024.

I don’t want to let down the group.

So I do what needs to be done.

And not only that, it makes me WANT to work harder and achieve more.

So the new community was the third thing.

And fourth…

Simple progress.

Progress is insanely motivating, and recently I’ve experienced some decent social media growth, I’ve leveled up my skills in a few areas, I’ve been learning plenty of new things, finished my 13th book of 2024, and I’ve been stacking cash this month and last in my business too.

It’s been the most profitable few months in the life of my business, and it’s ALL coming together. That whole cocktail has been incredibly inspiring.

So what can you take from this?

  1. SLEEP MORE! If you haven’t already, get this handled.

  2. Find someone whose opinion you care about, and who has high expectations from you, and commit to never letting that person down.

  3. Get around people who WANT you to win and who are going to help you do it. You’re welcome in The Competitive Advantage community, but you could join a different group. It makes a huge difference though.

  4. Stack up wins, and gain MOMENTUM. Get a win, build on it, look for the next one, go after a bigger win, get that, and then keep going. There’s a win available to you every single day. Multiple wins. Find them and capture them.

That’s just been what’s working for me recently. Hope that at least part of that was helpful to you!

The danger I mentioned above, though, is relying on motivation.

Motivation comes and goes with “how you feel.” Whereas discipline is constant.

As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…

Scheduled Some Client Work

Okay, I would be STUPID to stay up any later than this. So I’m going to make this short. It was a good, productive day, still not producing the kind of work I need to this month to hit ALL my goals, but I’m definitely making excellent progress.

Tomorrow I should be able to wrap up a few projects that have been weighing on my mind.

Until next time…happy reading!

All the best,

Matt Karamazov
