I believe in overdelivering for clients, customers, and partners. Always have.

At least ever since I started to read Brian Tracy's books, where he says that once you begin to do more than that for which you're paid, you'll start to earn much more than you're being paid now.

In a world where people's expectations are on the floor, you can separate yourself, stand out, impress clients/customers/partners/etc., and yes...generate a ton of extra cash in your business by doing MORE.

As they say, "It's never crowded along the extra mile."

I keep a list of ways that I can go above and beyond, and overdeliver on projects for anyone who has paid me money.

I have several lists, actually (by revenue stream/customers/clients, but here's how I go above and beyond for sponsors:

*Ask Them How I Can Do More (What else do they need my help with? What else can I do?)

*Create Higher Quality Posts (Overdeliver versus the quality they were expecting)

*Follow Up with Campaign Analytics (Show them how the campaign performed after it’s done - sooo few creators do this)

*Introductions to My Network (Who do I know that they should know?)

*Offer Social Media Advice (Not part of the package, but I can help them grow their brand a lot better than how they’ve been trying to do it)

*Provide Extra Testimonials (For their website, promotional materials, etc.)

*Publish Additional Posts (Give them wayyy more posts than they were expecting)

*Quick Turnaround Times (Do it faster)

*Write Campaign Summary (Different than analytics, this is where I break down what worked, what didn’t, what could be improved, etc.)

Most of these are pretty self-explanatory, but of course I can go deeper into any and all of them (get my personal feedback here).

But for right now, you can just ask yourself...who's paying me right now?

What do they expect from me? How can I EXCEED those expectations and make it more likely that they'll recommend me to 1,000 of their friends? That's the game :)

It’s been a WILD few weeks, with my basement flooding, identifying and closing 100+ open loops in my life/business that were subtly dragging down my energy, keeping up with everything…

And they SOLD the Huracan I was going to buy!! Horrible.

It could actually work out for the best though, because it honestly would have been too much financial pressure to pull the trigger this April. I found a Gallardo out West though, and another Huracan that looks cool, but I’ll likely wait until July to drive it home.

Next month I’m also bringing back the Goal Progress / Daily Report / etc. that I usually include in these emails. It’s just been a weird month and I’ve been kinda recalibrating.

But eh, that’s it for me right now - off to bed to do some reading! I won’t leave it so long before the next email though. Talk soon!
