A 9-Figure Entrepreneur Taught Me a Lesson About Arrogance

📚 Hey! Time to win.

I am extremely (and I mean extremely) confident, but I am completely without arrogance.

There’s a massive difference between the two, and not understanding the difference will be a massive handicap that will ruin you if left unchecked.

I like how 9-figure entrepreneur Brandon Dawson puts it:

“Confidence is a belief in yourself; arrogance is a belief only in yourself.”

The way I see it, it’s very (and I mean very) difficult to succeed online (or offline, for that matter) without confidence, without massive self-belief and a sense of sureness and self-trust.

That’s absolutely key.

But arrogant people believe that they don’t need anyone else, that they don’t need help. That they know everything already, so why bother asking for help?

Ironically, they may not even be that confident either!

False front, lying to themselves, NGMI.

That’s arrogance, and it’s deadly in business. Not to mention unprofitable.

Confidence, however, doesn’t negate a strong belief in the capabilities of other people as well. It means that you’re open to learning. Open to realizing that hey, maybe this guy who sold his company for 151,000,000 knows something that I don’t!

I highly recommend Brandon’s book, by the way, and you can get all my complete notes here for free. And the book is here on Amazon.

But evaluate yourself on the confidence/arrogance spectrum and see where you stand. Even more ironically, truly arrogant people won’t do this.

But confident people will. And they will win.

My new strategy of being smart instead of dumb is really working! I already feel SO much further ahead, like I can actually get on top of my workload for once this year and feel PERFECTLY positioned to expand my business even more.

I even came up with some AWESOME business ideas that I’ve been playing with in my mastermind group, and with a few other people. Just new/better ways of doing things that I’ll tell you about later I’m sure. They have to do with my work marketing books, different arrangements and strategies - should be a profitable/exciting next few months.

But hey, it’s 2:56AM here right now and I’m going to bed!

All the best,

Matt Karamazov
