đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.

I shared one of my favorite books of all time on my other newsletter tonight, and I want to focus on particular quote from that book right here.

The book is called The Greatest Salesman in the World, by Og Mandino (Yes, OG), and it came out of nowhere to become one of my all time favorite books.

I know, I’ve said that twice already.

Seriously though, it completely overwhelmed my expectations and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

But here’s the quote:

“Good habits are the key to all success. Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure.”

The unlocked door to failure.

As in, you can waltz right through, and no one will stop you…until it’s too late.

Bad habits are so easy to fall into - literally an unlocked door - and indulging in them will lead you directly into abject failure and hopelessness.

The author knew a thing or two about a thing or two when it came to hopelessness as well, and I tell the story here if you’re interested.

Basically, bad habits almost ruined his life until he discovered books, read like a man obsessed, and turned his life around thanks to the books and ideas he ran into at the library.

Reading really is one of those habits that are the key to all success.

But that’s it for today.

As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…

Woke Up: 11:30AM

Sleep Quality: 69%

Pages Read: 79

Workout: Legs

Leg Extensions - 85lbs, 85lbs, 85lbs, 85lbs (12 reps, last set to failure)

BB Squats - 155lbs, 155lbs, 155lbs, 155lbs (8 reps, last set to failure)

Leg Press - 220lbs, 220lbs, 220lbs, 220lbs (8 reps, last set to failure)

I do something I rarely do, cut my workout short, so I could get home, fire off this email, get ready for tomorrow, and get to bed. I missed leg curls and seated calf raises, but my calves and hamstrings did get worked with the squats and leg press, so I’m not overly concerned. Still hate to cut workouts short though.

Work Completed:

Worked on Next Book Breakdown (I’m late on this, but it’s coming along)

Did Some New Client Work (onboarding stuff mostly)

Worked on 3 Book Marketing Projects

Invoiced Another Author for Book Marketing

Attended “Write Your Way to $5K” Workshop

Did Some Prep Work for Next Week

Returned Some Emails (a lot more to go though)

Solid day of productivity today, but still ended up with more items on my to-do list than when I started! Such is the life I guess.

Tomorrow I have GOT to get going on recording/editing some new YouTube videos, editing some Time Mastery videos, moving my paid community/courses over to Skool - just on and on.

For that, I need sleep, so that’s where I’m headed now!

So until next time…happy reading!

All the best,

Matt Karamazov
