I'm Rich! (My Beehiiv Ad Network Payout)

📚 Hey! Time to win.
Guys...I don't want to brag, but I just made $6 by running ads in my latest newsletter.
Six. Whole. Dollars! So now there's only one question:
Lamborghini or Ferrari???
A few sincere thoughts on this though:
1) Never Rely on Platform Revenue: YouTube has a great Partner Program, X payouts are getting bigger all the time, Threads is handing out bonuses left right and center...all that's great, and you should totally capitalize on these revenue streams if you're able to. But you can never rely on them.
For one thing, you can't violate the Commandment of Control, which states that you never OWN the social media platforms.
I literally just saw an X creator today with 300K followers who lost his monetization status today. YouTube channels are demonetized all the time, sometimes by mistake...you just never know.
You need to CONTROL the source(s) of your revenue. Newsletter revenue is better, because you do actually "own" those email addresses. But Beehiiv still has terms of service, of course, there are rules, etc. You've still gotta be smart, and not put all your ad revenue in one basket!
2) Stack Revenue Streams for Accelerated Freedom: I laugh about $6, but at the same time, it all adds up! Again, literally today I woke up to another $20 in my Amazon Affiliates account.
I remember I used to work minimum-wage jobs for less than that, an hour of my LIFE gone so I could earn less than $20, and with the internet, I'm earning money in my sleep. That's NOT nothing.
At the same time, though, I would never have been able to go full time as a creator (I’m at about $5K per month right now, revenue) if I relied on all these small little payouts. A MUCH smarter strategy is to sell SERVICES, whether that's coaching, marketing, design, ghostwriting...the options are endless.
But all of them together? You can generate a wonderful income from that!
Early on in my creator “journey,” I kept my expenses very VERY low, and it honestly didn't take much for me to break free. If it costs you, say, $3,000/month to stay alive, it's NOT hard to make $1,000/month across three revenue streams.
You don't want to spread yourself thin, of course, but listen: coaching, YouTube, and a digital product, and you've already got yourself that $3,000/month. And there are numerous ways you can split it up:
Coaching: 1 client at $1,000, 2 clients at $500, 5 clients at $200, etc.
Digital Products: 25 customers paying $40, 10 customers paying $100, etc.
What I'm saying is that digital freedom is closer than you think, and when you consider the MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY that's out there right now for us creators, you start to realize that NOW is the time to make major moves forward. I've got you! I won't let you fail.

Today was half-decent! I feel good about what I was able to do, but AGAIN, I still feel like I could have done more. I guess most business owners feel that way!
Still though, I have to give myself some credit for putting in some solid work hours and moving some important projects forward. My next book breakdown will be published tomorrow, for one, and I MAY be able to get a YouTube video out, but no promises there.
But hey, it’s 3:34AM here right now and I’m going to bed!
