Breaking Down My August Goals + Strategy

📚 Hey! Time to win.

So the first day of August is in the books, which means I updated my goals for the month ahead and gave a LOT of thought about what I want to create and bring into my life over the next 31 days.

I highly recommend making this kind of monthly planning part of your process as well.

August is a great month for getting ahead because most of the people you’re competing against are going to be taking it easy.

They’re going to be taking the breaks that they “earned,” while the RELENTLESS ones - people like you and I - gear up to take their lunch.

I’m not saying never rest and never celebrate. Not at all.

But now’s the time when a lot of people are going to get complacent, giving you an excellent opportunity to step up and win.

Personally, I’m going ALL OUT this August. As you would probably expect!

This feels crazy to say, but I could absolutely have my first $10,000 month THIS MONTH.

I’ve never done that before. I’ve done about half that. But with everything coming together like it is…

A few things are going to be priorities though:

My Newsletter.

My YouTube Channel.

My Private Community.

That right there could represent about $4-6K in income this month, and that’s not even counting monetizing my Instagram (112K followers now), writing on Medium, 1-1 business coaching, etc.

But none of this is just going to “happen” because I “want it” to happen.

It’s going to take focus. It’s going to take sacrifices. It’s going to take EFFORT.

But I know that most people aren’t going to be putting in the kind of effort that I’ll be putting in this month, and that makes me one tough competitor.

Great start to August. I didn’t actually get a YouTube video up within 24 hours of my last one, but I’m not too broken up about it. I got a TREMENDOUS amount done today, and I really set myself up to win this month.

What I’ll probably do - and I know this is a slippery slope haha - but what I’ll probably do is upload 2 YouTube videos in one day this coming week. A regular video and a sample video from my online course, Time Mastery, tailored to YouTube. As always, batching is going to be key.

But hey, it’s 5:10AM here right now and I’m going to bed!
