Business is Hard Enough. Don't Do It Without Friends.

đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.
Long day, short email.
This one’s about how having friends - a support network - in business is so clutch when it comes to making everything work.
I told you yesterday about how I joined that online business accelerator, and starting on the 29th, I’ll be having at least an hour a day of discussions and virtual meetups with a bunch of creators doing $20k, $30k, some of them $50k/month and up in their businesses.
I’ll be learning from all of them, and there are definitely a few guest presenters I had never heard of.
But there’s something I found interesting.
It’s that 9 out of the 20 or so creators “teaching” these accelerator masterclasses were either friends of mine, new acquaintances, people I’ve met and bounced ideas off of before…
It just struck me how much easier and more fun business can be when you don’t have to go it alone.
To be clear, I am nowhere NEAR their level. Yet.
I’d have to check, but I don’t think I’ve had my first $5k month yet.
But I keep working, I haven’t burned out, and I haven’t lost faith, and a big part of that is having that support network in place, knowing that I don’t have to do it all by myself.
I guess what I’m saying is this:
There are people out there who want to help us reach our goals, and maybe business doesn’t ever technically get any easier, but when you have friends supporting you, it certainly feels easier, and that’s something.
But that’s it for today.
As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…
I credit the majority of my success and happiness in life to my consistent, unbreakable habit of reading and applying great books.
To help you gain wisdom and strength from the greatest books that have stood the test of time (and use the knowledge contained therein to shape your life according to the way you want to live it), I created the Stairway to Wisdom, my library of expert book breakdowns.
When you become a member of the Stairway to Wisdom, you’ll gain access to more than 120+ such book breakdowns, as well as a premium weekly newsletter that some readers have described as “philosophical espresso shots for the soul.”
Whenever I publish a new breakdown, I always make it free for a couple of weeks, just so people can check it out and see if it’s something they want to begin receiving in their inbox regularly.
Here’s the latest book breakdown inside the Stairway to Wisdom, with links to become a member if that’s something you feel would benefit you:

I don’t love what I achieved today, and I think - I KNOW - that a lot of it has to do with sleep. I mean, I wasn’t lazy or anything, but I wasn’t nearly as crisp mentally as I usually am when I get 8 hours. Even tonight I’ll get like…7 hours. Not ideal, but better than last night, and better than the night before.
What it really means though is that I have to race to catch up on things this week and next, which I always hate doing. Creative work is fun, but rushing isn’t.
As always, will try to do better. Keeping myself accountable to you every day in these emails does actually help though.
Until next time…happy reading!
All the best,
Matt Karamazov
