Can You Trust People Not to ROB YOU Blind?

📚 Hey, good morning! Time to win.

Trusting people with your business and your money can be tricky to navigate.

Especially when you’re starting a new venture and you’re not sure yet what’s happening with corporate structure, individual responsibilities, payouts and compensation - all that stuff.

But there are some GREAT discussions happening inside The Competitive Advantage right now around those very topics.

One of our members, Jasper, asked me this question in the group about whether to collaborate with friends he knew (but wasn’t sure about their level of commitment) or go it alone.

Here’s his question:

How do you open yourself up to collaboration without foolishly handing over too much equity, trusting the wrong person, and other dangers?

Here’s my response:

I’m trusting by nature, but when it’s high stakes, you’d probably better have a contract, or at least some sort of written agreement.

ESPECIALLY when it’s your business that you feel strongly about and are committing to seeing grow.

Sometimes no-contract partnerships can work. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think Alice Cooper and his manager have EVER had a formal contract between them for the last hundred years or so that he’s been touring :)

As always, your milage may vary.

And before we get into my April Goals progress update, I’m still looking for THREE (3) more people who want to take their physique to the next level in the next 90-180 days.

Depending on where you’re starting from, I can’t promise results like this in 90 days (see below), but given enough time, I can help you get into MOVIE-STAR shape quicker than you ever thought possible. You just need the right coach!

If you’d like to work together, just reply to this email and let me know.

And now, for my goal updates…

I’m taking the next few weeks off from the gym, with the exception of some light cardio and maybe some even lighter weights. That’s the plan: I’ve been pushing myself extremely hard these past few months and have made pretty spectacular gains, and so I’m giving my body (and mind) some extra time to recover and come back bigger and stronger.

Reorganized My Workflow and Saved My Sanity!

Alright, it’s official: I need sleep.

Again, DECENT progress today on my goals, but there’s still so much left to do and time is running out! Falling dreadfully behind on daily YouTube uploads, but I refuse to sacrifice quality just to say “I posted a video today.”

Other than that, great day connecting with people inside The Competitive Advantage community, spending some time with my family, etc. Today was good!

But that’s it for now.

Until next time…happy reading!

All the best,
