Discipline + Obsession = Freedom
However, Unlimited Freedom = Slavery

đź“š Hey, good evening!
I’ve got an excellent new book to tell you about, and it pairs perfectly with my new YouTube video about discipline and freedom.
The book is called Your Brain Weighs 500 Pounds, by retired U.S. Army veteran Derrick Pledger, who is now the Chief Information Officer for Leidos, a Fortune 500 company.
He’s also racked up a ton of other impressive accomplishments (like co-authoring a book with 50 Cent), but what’s really impressive about him is his pure desire to help YOU start (or continue) achieving at a high level.
I mean, that’s what The Competitive Advantage is all about, so I figured you’d want to hear about the book too. Derrick is the real deal, and Your Brain Weighs 500 Pounds checks all the boxes.
I was incredibly impressed with this book when I first read it, and now I stand behind it 100%.
It contains 100 “recipes” to help you detox your mind, body, and soul, and attack your ambitions with UNRELENTING discipline and power.
Here’s my most recent Instagram post about the book if you’d like to find out more about it. Or just check it out on Amazon.

My new YouTube video actually deals with some of the same themes.
You see, unlimited freedom sounds nice, but it can only lead to unlimited pain and frustration.
DISCIPLINE, on the other hand, will not only help you get everything you ever wanted, but it will help you gain even greater, LASTING freedom later on.
For reasons I make clear in the video, you do NOT want freedom - at least not UNLIMITED freedom.
You want more DISCIPLINE, because discipline, combined with action, focus, execution, and OBSESSION, will lead you to a kind of beautiful, sustainable freedom that most people just never get to experience.
So enjoy the video, leave a comment if you have something you’d like to say, share it with someone you think needs to see it, and hey...happy reading :)
All the best,
Matt Karamazov
