Quick one today, and it’s a message that every aspiring creator needs to hear eventually. And repeatedly. As often as necessary, really. And it’s this:
To save your sanity and protect your schedule, batch-create your content!!!
That’s three exclamation marks I just used, to give you a little idea of how important it is.
What do I mean by batch-create your content? Well, instead of scripting, filming, editing, and publishing a YouTube video in sequence, what I suggest you get in the habit of is scripting all your videos at once, then recording them all together, then setting aside several days to edit them all, etc.
I need to get back in the habit of doing this myself.
It’s been such a game-changer for me, and yet, for whatever reason, I’ve been creating content the slow, inefficient way for the last few months instead.
But whenever I fall behind (like I have on occasion, quite recently), it’s because I’ve been scrambling to get a post online all in one day, instead of having a catalog of posts in reserve that I can pull from and post instead.
Now, of course there are advantages to giving everything to one video at a time, making it as perfect as can be, and then shifting your focus to the next one. I know people who do this - a few of them with hundreds of thousands of subscribers more than I have.
But for the vast majority of people, this doesn’t work. They fall behind, get stressed out, scramble to catch up, and end up publishing sub-par work that fails to get the views, leads, and sales that they wanted.

Massively productive day today, but now I have to KEEP IT UP. June was reserved for getting ahead, clearing my schedule and task list, etc., and while it’s going decently well in terms of all that, there’s still plenty left undone. It’s gonna be a rough month of driving pretty damn hard, but it’ll be worth it, and I can ease up a LITTLE BIT soon.
Tomorrow I’ll be publishing my next YouTube video, getting ahead on my newsletter for the following week, etc. Hope your Sunday goes well too!
