Not to brag (I’ve said repeatedly that this is just a vanity metric), but I’ve read at least 100+ books a year every year for the last ten years.
Without fail.
In my latest YouTube video, I break down a major part of how I’ve been able to do that, and I’m serious when I say that it’s EASY to make this change.
Reading 30 more books a year is still somewhat of a major undertaking (this is impressive, truly!), but it doesn’t have to mean abandoning your friends and family and going to live in the library.
Although, hey, I wouldn’t be against that myself :)
What I talk about in the video takes things to a higher level, but here’s one of my slides from the video and it lays out an important idea:
This is so fu&king true, whether we’re talking about reading, getting in shape, building a business, raising a family - whatever.
Every single action you take is either a +1 or a -1.
Towards or away.
Forward or backward.
Success or failure.
It’s a choice we make in every moment.
As you’ll see if you decide to watch the short video, this is only a small part of the advice I lay out, but it’s critically important.
Always make the +1 choice. Every time.
Do it for yourself. Do it for the people who are counting on you. Do it now.
