I Was Flying a Jet with Just ONE Working Engine

đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.

“If you were to write out your brain's potential expressed by the number of possible neural connections it could make, it would take you seventy-five years to write out all the zeroes.

That's the level of power and capacity you have at your disposal every moment of every day. In other words, your potential to achieve what you want is essentially without limit."

The above quote is from The Answer, by John Assaraf and Murray Smith, the next featured book at The Stairway to Wisdom.

That’s the book breakdown I’m writing now.

But imagine that:

“Your potential to achieve what you want is essentially without limit."

It seems like we’re so limited, though, right?

To me, what that says is that most people - including me sometimes - literally have no idea how powerful the human brain actually is, or that we can tap into its power at almost literally any time.

Reminds me of one of my favorite philosophers, Colin Wilson, who said that human beings were like great big jet airplanes, flying on just one engine.

So much personal power available to each and every one of us that we’re just not using…but what if we did?

But that’s it for today.

As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…

I credit the majority of my success and happiness in life to my consistent, unbreakable habit of reading and applying great books.

To help you gain wisdom and strength from the greatest books that have stood the test of time (and use the knowledge contained therein to shape your life according to the way you want to live it), I created the Stairway to Wisdom, my library of expert book breakdowns.

When you become a member of the Stairway to Wisdom, you’ll gain access to more than 120+ such book breakdowns, as well as a premium weekly newsletter that some readers have described as “philosophical espresso shots for the soul.”

Whenever I publish a new breakdown, I always make it free for a couple of weeks, just so people can check it out and see if it’s something they want to begin receiving in their inbox regularly.

Here’s the latest book breakdown inside the Stairway to Wisdom, with links to become a member if that’s something you feel would benefit you:

You’re seeing me at my worst here, and I really haven’t had a “Super Productive” day since I started sending these accountability emails. I mean, I’m completing a decent amount of work, but I’m falling behind on a lot (like responding to emails!)

All this is to say I’ll have to take a step back and see what I can change for this coming week. Making sleep a priority again is going to be a BIG part of my plan though.

On the 31st I’m also going to “call my shot” for February, and let you know EXACTLY what I plan on completing, publishing, etc.

That way I will have NO CHOICE but to execute. My plan/goals will be right out there for everyone to see, and if I don’t hit them, you’ll know.

Next month is also the month for the launch of my paid mastermind/community, so you’ll be hearing more about that.

Basically a way for us to work more closely (in a group setting - I’ll probably limit spots to 50 or so) and team up together to hit our targets for February.

Right now, though, I’m going to bed! Talk to you tomorrow.

Until next time…happy reading!

All the best,

Matt Karamazov
