I Got PAID $40 Just to Grow My Own Newsletter

Before I tell you about how I got paid $40 just to add 20 new subscribers to my main newsletter (The Reading Life), I want to let you know that my full breakdown of An Iron Will, by Orison Swett Marden is FINALLY ready.

I’ve been “working on it” (putting it off) for a while now, but it’s worth the wait.

This classic book from the founder of SUCCESS Magazine was first published in 1901, and helped launch the entire field of self-improvement.

It's short, wildly inspirational, and will arm you with the ambition and the willpower needed to keep going no matter what.

Now, the money.

Sure, it’s not a lot (I’ll break $5K this month in my business, EASY), but hey, $40 is $40 and I basically did ZERO work to get it.

It was because I got an influx of new subscribers to my newsletter - The Reading Life, like I said, the one mainly about books - and because I run partnerships with OTHER great newsletters who pay me for referrals, I get paid something like $1.50 or so for every new person that signs up to those newsletters based on my recommendation.

This is super easy to set up (and I give a more in-depth explanation here) and it’s seriously like an infinite money glitch.

I LOVE the internet!

We were talking a few days ago about how EASY it is to add an extra $50/month to your business revenue, and THIS is proof!

It almost literally couldn’t be easier.

Of course, there’s more to it. You need to have a newsletter that people actually WANT to subscribe to and read. You need to have partnerships set up with these other newsletters, etc.

But it is NOT hard, and it really starts to ramp up over time.

I mean think about it:

I got paid $40 for adding ~20 new subscribers, so thankfully, the math is pretty easy. On average, each new subscriber I add PAYS ME $2.

In one scenario, all you need to do is add 50 new subscribers a month, and you earn $100. Or 500 a month and earn $1,000, assuming the return stays constant.

Or, alternatively, you can go right back and SPEND that money on subscriber acquisition, paying between $1.50-$2 per new subscriber to your newsletter with FB ads, Google ads, etc.

You’re effectively OFFSETTING your subscriber acquisition costs by having this set up, letting you grow and grow, forever.
