Hit These Numbers, and You'll Be the Proud Owner of a Money-Printing Machine

📚 Hey, good morning! Time to win.

Most of my clients weren't tracking ANY of the following metrics when I first started working with them.

And that’s why they weren’t making the kind of money they wanted in their business. Simple as that.

Hell, I wasn't tracking any of these things when I first started!! But tracking these metrics can change EVERYTHING.

If you don't know what results you're getting right now, how can you possibly improve? How will you even be able to tell?!

These are (mostly) the only numbers you need to track, for a coaching/service business. Of course, audience growth metrics are different, but these are an EXCELLENT start:

“These are the average metrics of a successful, profitable business (all of which are tracked on a spreadsheet):

*CPM – Cost Per Thousand Impressions: $15

*CTR – Click-Through Rate: 1%

*LP% – Landing Page Conversion Rate: 20%

*CPL – Cost Per Lead: $10

*VCR% – Video Conversion Rate: 10%

*SHOW – Show-Up Rate: 55%

*TAKEN – Taken Call Cost: $250

*CLOSE – Close Rate: 25%

*CPA – Cost Per Acquisition: $1,000

The closer you can get to those numbers, the better. If you can land on them, then congratulations, you now have a money-printing machine. If you can beat them, then even better.

Mathematically speaking, if you can make a sale for a $1,000 cost per acquisition, as in the above case, and the price of your program is $2,000 or anywhere above this, then you now have the ability to double your money, or greater, on demand.”

The above is from my notes on How To: $10M, by William Brown, one of THE BEST business books I've ever read, and certainly among my favorite reads of 2024 so far. It's a literal goldmine.

And he was right! When he told me during a recent coaching call to start tracking EVERYTHING, that’s when everything started to change. And now that’s exactly what I hammer home to my personal coaching clients too.

Today was great! I really had a good time on my birthday yesterday (I did a little bit of work on my birthday, but honestly not much), and today I got right back in the swing of things.

I went on a little bit of a Michael Jackson kick today actually haha. My ankles hurt from teaching myself to moonwalk, but it was worth it. I’m getting better! Still no chance that I’ll be able to do his “anti-gravity lean” anytime soon, but at this point I’m pretty sure he’s my favorite performer. Today I was working with some MJ remixes on YouTube, having a great time writing and working on stuff. Great times!

But hey, it’s 4:34AM here right now and I’m going to bed!
