One of the better leadership books I've read recently is called The Rubicon Leader, by Vahab Hasiri.
My complete notes and summary aren't finished yet (I just finished reading the book not too long ago), but of course I'll pass them along when they're done.
The book draws on all these fascinating historical examples of people like Caesar, Washington, Lincoln, Cleopatra, Confucius, etc., who completely reinvented themselves, developed their influence and personal power, and caused massive ripple effects across history.
There's solid leadership theory and neuroscience behind Hasiri's approach in the book, which basically adds up to presenting enough evidence to your brain to convince it (you haha) that you ARE who you say you are. At least, who you're becoming.
You're deciding in advance who you want to be, how you want to show up in the world, what kinds of things you do and don’t do, and then proving it over and over and over again with your actions.
The "Fast" part comes with making the DECISION, right here and now to grow into someone capable of realizing and inhabiting your desired future. The results show up later - they're a lagging indicator of your inner transformation - but the decision always happens in the here and now. It's instantaneous. It happens FAST, and it happens NOW.
The "Forever" part comes in when you realize that every single thing you do, think, and experience in any way, shape, or form, is steadily and inevitably rewiring your brain circuitry. "Neurons that fire together, wire together," and you're literally transforming your own brain (via neuroplasticity) through your positive, future-directed actions.
Your present reality and experience (to say nothing of your results) is a direct reflection of your thoughts, actions, and beliefs in the past. From this day forward, you can CHOOSE to become a completely different person. You can CHOOSE to reinvent yourself.
Completely. Forever. Fast.

I hope your week’s off to a great start. I haven’t been publishing the YouTube videos I had planned to, and I haven’t finished off many books this month (only 2 lol), but I’ve been making insane progress on closing all these “open loop” in my mind.
Responding to emails, clearing out digital clutter, physical clutter, organizing my systems and updating my landing pages, etc. It’s been great for my feeling of being organized, but I’ve been doing more of that, at the expense of strictly revenue-generating activities, which is what I always tell my students and clients NOT to do.
But I’m going to stay accountable to you guys, and not put on some big show of being perfect all the time. Because we both know that’s hardly the truth. Tomorrow’s another day of getting after it though! See you then.
