đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.
I almost don’t want you to watch this.
A friend of a friend of mine, Spencer Cornelia, has a YouTube channel where he exposes fake gurus and scummy influencers, and tonight I made the mistake of watching his video about Jack Doherty.
I mean, I linked to it, so you CAN watch it if you’d like - it’s not that the video itself is bad.
It’s just that that Doherty kid is such a walking L.
He’s everything that’s wrong with the internet, whereas I’m trying to align myself with everything that’s RIGHT about the internet.
Because it CAN BE a wonderful place.
There are good guys everywhere.
People teaching you life-changing skills for free, or sharing fantastic insights that can really help you improve your life in a big way.
I do my part by sharing what I believe are the best book recommendations.
But then you have these…these…
Uggh.
The less said about Jack Doherty the better.
But my point is that, as creators, businesspeople, human beings…
We have the choice to be one of the “good guys” or the “bad guys.”
To uplift others, support them, HELP them…
Or make cringe “drama” content that just makes money because it’s a trainwreck that people can’t look away from.
Every time I get exposes to the cancerous side of the internet, it reaffirms my commitment to being one of the good guys.
That doesn’t mean I’ll never make a mistake, or that I’m somehow perfect or whatever. But at least I can sleep each night knowing that I did my best.
As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…

Skipped the gym today. I know, I know. After all that talk above about being a good influence on people haha. My ONLY defense is that I have an insane amount of work to get done and I actually did a lot of it. Tomorrow is another workout!

Today was pretty good…towards the end. Got off to a little bit of a slow start where I wasn’t sure how much work I was going to get done, but i managed to put it out towards the end. Still plenty to do, but I do feel good about what I did today.
I also updated the About page for my Skool community (private coaching program) where we’ve got 35 students/members signed up right now.
So if you’re feeling stuck right now, or pressed for time, like you’re not making any progress even though you’re working as hard as ever, click here and I may be able to help.
