Just Finished My 27th Book of the Year

📚 Hey, good morning! Time to win.
I just finished my 27th book of 2024:
Nine-Figure Mindset, by Brandon Dawson.
Here’s the book on Amazon, and here are my complete notes and summary.
I’m actually on my way to getting to bed at a decent time for once, but I just wanted to pop in with a few of the best notes and takeaways from the book.
Now, bear in mind, that Brandon sold his last company for $151,000,000, so he knows a thing or two about a thing or two when it comes to business.
A few quick hits:
“The fastest way to succeed is to find the closest example of what you want to accomplish and model yourself after the person who achieved it.”
“Know that if you give up, those around you will also give up, and that if you develop true resilience and resourcefulness, those around you will discover the same qualities in themselves.”
“‘My job isn’t to promote you,’ I argued. ‘Your job is to make it impossible not to be promoted.’”
“You wouldn’t look at a building that’s under construction and condemn it for being unfinished, right? Adopt this way of thinking about yourself and your business.”
“I’ve built businesses for myself to prove I could, and I’ve built businesses to help others succeed in their lives. Guess which ones were more successful and fun to lead?”
This is not a long book. But what you’re doing is basically absorbing this guy’s hard-fought wisdom gained - painfully - over a period of decades, and you’re getting it for just a few hours of mental effort and a couple dollars.

I’m taking the next few weeks off from the gym, with the exception of some light cardio and maybe some even lighter weights. That’s the plan: I’ve been pushing myself extremely hard these past few months and have made pretty spectacular gains, and so I’m giving my body (and mind) some extra time to recover and come back bigger and stronger.

Lots of work under the surface of my business today. Working on sales pages, backend stuff, scripting videos, strategizing. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes! At least with the successful businesses.
As usual, I still have plenty of distance left to cover, more than I can possibly cover today, tomorrow, or the next day. Or the next WEEK! But all I can do is keep moving forward, keep executing, and get myself closer to that place where I can start really ramping up content creation and scaling up.
Those days will come! Whatever we’re doing, we just need to keep the faith. Keep the faith, AND develop an excellent strategy. No sense in keeping the faith and persisting in a terrible strategy.
But that’s it for today.
