Keeping Your Promises Can Make You Filthy Rich
“Let’s imagine you have a product that takes a week to deliver. The customer can get one win at the end of that week or win every day with daily progress updates. Same amount of progress, seven times the wins.
On top of that, if someone said seven things would happen, and all seven do, I trust them even more. Referring a friend is now lower risk, since seven promises were made and all seven were kept.”
This is the “Book of the Week” inside Creator Launch Academy, but it could easily be the book of the month instead. I have 10+ pages of valuable, money-making notes from $100M Leads, and I want to talk about just one of them right now.
The basic idea here is that people love progress - tangible progress - and they love experiencing a multitude of small wins in quick succession.
Momentum is an extremely powerful force, especially when it comes to human motivation.
So, to make the most money possible, you want to create as much momentum as possible in the lives of your clients and customers. You want to give them wins, and you want to keep them coming hard and fast.
That right there is going to increase customer satisfaction and help drive up revenue.
But there’s a secondary (really, primary) benefit of this that Alex identifies above, and that concerns trust. If you tell people that something is going to happen, and then that thing happens, people will trust more of what you say. I think we can all agree that’s obvious.
And yet…
When is the last time that a company you paid money to actually delivered what they said they would? When was the last time they overdelivered? When was the last time they exceeded your expectations so much that you just had to tell someone else about them?
That is rare. And rare, as we’ve seen, is extremely valuable.
It’s also simple. Just tell your customers what they can expect, and when. Break up those deliverables into as many pieces as possible, and make sure they arrive one after another, in quick succession, and that your customer is made aware of everything you’re doing in order to make their lives better, make them more money, etc.
1) Make promises, 2) Keep promises, 3) Print money.
Do that for long enough, and you almost can’t help but become wildly successful and filthy rich. And in a marketplace environment when most people are just doing the bare minimum to attract and keep customers, you’ll be the clear winner.

“So when we ask, ‘How long can we expect to live?’ it’s the wrong question. We should instead be asking, ‘How long can we expect to have good health? And more to the point, how can we extend our healthspan?’ This is the question that should consume us. Simply by asking it, we change the way we think about how we live.”

Today was one of those insanely productive days that I LIVE for. Well, maybe not “live” for - I live for books, bodybuilding, and having a good time! But still, I got a lot done today and it felt great. Tomorrow’s lined up to be pretty solid too.
But I’m about to turn in, so I’ll catch up with you soon!
And always remember: even if NO ONE else believes in you…I DO.
All the best,
Matt Karamazov
