How to Make a Few Billion Dollars

📚 Hey, good morning! Time to win.

I just finished reading my 44th book of the year: How to Make a Few Billion Dollars, by Brad Jacobs.

Not all of it applies to me and where I’m at in my business (he’s big into mergers and acquisitions, and I have zero interest in heading more than a very small team), but I love his perspective, and I always read at least a few business books every year written by BIG thinkers.

Even if they’re not in my industry, and/or I’m not interested specifically in their type of success.

I’d like to make a few million dollars, but you can’t get caught up in the race for “more.”

There are plenty of billionaires who are miserable, just because, even though they might have $10B to their name, someone else they’re at odds with has $12B.

That’s just not a game I’m willing to play, and even Brad says in his book:

There’s actually a ton of great “mindset” stuff at the beginning of Brad’s book. And he doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously, either.

He’s madly ambitious, a great striver with a tremendous work ethic, but never at the expense of his principles and a restful night’s sleep.

I’ll be writing more about this book, sharing it online, etc. And I’ll suggest right now that it’s certainly worth reading!

I took some time away from the gym to get caught up on work and I wasn’t able to push the same amount of weight as I did even a few weeks ago, but it still felt great to get in there. And I’m still jacked :)

Long day! Definitely productive, but man, that workout wiped me out, and I kinda crashed toward the end of the day.

Tomorrow, I HAVE TO…as in…HAVE TO get caught up on my next few YouTube videos, contact a bunch of authors, and get my Facebook ads campaign all set up. That’s along with my regular social media posting, community development, etc. It’ll be a long day, but I get to talk about books all day, so I can’t really complain!

But hey, it’s 5:13AM here right now and I’m going to bed!
