High time I started sending these daily emails regularly again. We’re talking briefly this morning about building unstoppable momentum in your business, but it comes with a warning.

This is something I’m experiencing for myself right now, and even though it’s not the worst problem to have, it’s still a problem. And it still has to be dealt with.

The fact is that I have too much deal flow right now, too many opportunities, too many profitable directions in which to focus my attention, and it’s taking over my life.

Which is strange because in the beginning (and if you’re at this stage now, you know exactly what I’m talking about), I fought tooth and fucking nail to gain any advantage, any foothold that I possibly could, to start making some forward progress.

I would post dozens of times each day across various social media platforms (still do), send DMs, send emails, join mastermind groups, write articles, make videos, read books, take courses…just on and on and on…everything I could to become successful.

I was doing exactly what I now teach you guys to do, which is to stack the probabilities in your favor, any way you can.

And hey, it worked!

I’m a full-time creator now, making a good living, working my “dream job” of getting paid to talk about books and business all day. Many parts of this life are great! But…

And this is true…

A dream job with a schedule you can’t control isn’t much of a dream job.

Turns out, I’m VERY competent and knowledgeable about getting creators from $0-$5K per month and ditching their old jobs to go full-time, but I have a LOT of work to do when it comes to setting up SYSTEMS to help make that success sustainable.

So that’s what I’m currently working on.

Because hey, many things are going great! The money’s coming in, I’m attracting these crazy opportunities and connecting with cool people, great entrepreneurs, etc. But this isn’t sustainable, which is why I need to learn how to level up.

Which brings me to the main takeaway here:

Momentum is EVERYTHING in the beginning, when you’re just starting out and you don’t have the evidence piled up that your wild little idea can work.

But SYSTEMS are everything later on, when everything you’ve worked for starts happening, and you want to keep making great money while keeping your sanity.

This whole month has been wild. Entrepreneurship is one of those things where you think you know EVERYTHING one minute and then just get completely (and painfully) humbled the next. Wouldn’t trade it for anything though…

Like I talked about above, my workload has been kicking my ASS this month: I have sooo many people who’ve emailed/messaged me that I need to get back to, I have that major book breakdown to finish (TWO major book breakdowns), author campaigns to finish up, author campaigns to start, YouTube videos to film, edit, and publish…man!

One of my very next hires is going to be a YouTube editor I think. I already have someone in mind, so maybe I’ll offload some of the editing to them and see what that does for my state of mind and my calendar.

But hey, it’s 5:42AM here right now and I’m going to bed!
