đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.

I’ll let you in on some of the great discussions we’re having inside the Competitive Advantage community over on Skool.

Firing up this group is literally one of the best decisions I’ve made so far this year.

Just the QUALITY of the people we have in there, the support they’re getting and giving - it’s going to be exciting watching this group unfold over the next year.

In one post, I covered something that advanced/expert-level practitioners (in EVERY field) do that beginners for whatever reason think they can skip. Experts never miss this.

And in another post, I just shared a quick, simple hack that saved me about $100 last month. Nothing too crazy in the grand scheme of things, but apparently lots of people have “found” extra money this way. It adds up.

If you’re like many of us, it could also pay your membership fee. Just saying.

But I wanted to share one other idea with you - covered in this post - that represents the greatest, simplest, most obvious productivity hack I’ve ever come across:

Just…

STARTING.

No matter what’s in front of you, no matter how you “feel,” or what’s “going on” in your life lately…just start.

It’s almost a letdown how simple it is, but I swear by it.

Because I’m a lot like you: there are plenty of times when I don’t FEEL like doing what I have to do.

But I force myself to START.

Most people don’t even get far.

They’re completely controlled by how they “feel” and by what they “want” to do and don’t want to do.

But my insane productivity isn’t some “gift” that I have that others don’t. Sure, I have certain…motivations that drive me onwards towards success, but none of that would mean anything if I didn’t just START.

If you rely on motivation your whole life you’ll never get anywhere. You need more. You need DISCIPLINE, and you build it by doing hard things.

What you’ll find too (and I mentioned this in my post) is that once you get going, it’s just natural that you’d continue.

There’s almost more friction involved in STOPPING than there was in starting at the beginning.

Because you’re in motion. And things (and people) in motion tend to STAY in motion. It’s the law :)

As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…

This was a tough day actually. More on the personal side though. I’m pretty transparent on the business side of things, but I’ll keep this one close to my chest.

It’s not like an illness or anything in the family, just some tension (that was my fault, but not necessarily avoidable). Anyway, maybe I’ll open up about it at some point.

But work-wise, this was actually another pretty solid brick in my wall! Whatever happens, I just keep moving forward. Relentlessly. Without fail. That is how you WIN in life. You do what has to be done, when it needs to be done, regardless of what else is going on.

I will turn in for the night though.

So until next time…happy reading!

All the best,

Matt Karamazov
