Sleep Faster!

đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.
This is Day 2 of my “Total Accountability” project - basically sharing everything I’m doing to grow my business, read 200 books this year, train for more fitness shoots, etc. etc. All that stuff.
If you read yesterday’s email, you probably guessed (correctly) that today was…
Not ideal.
My sleep has been allll off, and before I share with you what I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision, I have to say a few words about sleep.
On 8 hours of sleep, I feel as though I could cure cancer while fighting off a pack of hyenas at the same time. But anything less than 5?
Man. Today was brutal to get through.
Your sleep is SO incredibly important to your success and although usually I’m pretty good at getting enough of it, “pretty good” isn’t going to cut it for people like us who demand the BEST from ourselves each and every day.
Today wasn’t my best.
It could have been worse, but yea, I’m not going to be able to do all those things I mentioned above if I don’t get serious about sleeping.
I know Arnold says you just have to “sleep faster,” and while I do love that line, consider this your reminder from your friend Matt to GET SOME SLEEP!
It’s IMPORTANT. Your success rests (no pun intended) on whether or not you keep doing the fundamentals, over and over and over, and sleep is definitely one of those fundamentals.
One of the best books I’ve ever read on sleep is called Why We Sleep, by Matthew Walker, and I highly recommend it. So check that out if this is something you struggle with.
I’m going to bed right now, but at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my vision.
…and notice that I STILL went to the gym. Even though I didn’t feel like it. THAT’s when it’s MOST important that you get there.
I credit the majority of my success and happiness in life to my consistent, unbreakable habit of reading and applying great books.
To help you gain wisdom and strength from the greatest books that have stood the test of time (and use the knowledge contained therein to shape your life according to the way you want to live it), I created the Stairway to Wisdom, my library of expert book breakdowns.
When you become a member of the Stairway to Wisdom, you’ll gain access to more than 120+ such book breakdowns, as well as a premium weekly newsletter that some readers have described as “philosophical espresso shots for the soul.”
Whenever I publish a new breakdown, I always make it free for a couple of weeks, just so people can check it out and see if it’s something they want to begin receiving in their inbox regularly.
Here’s the latest book breakdown inside the Stairway to Wisdom, with links to become a member if that’s something you feel would benefit you:

I also did some light organizational stuff, just getting my work ready for tomorrow (helps tremendously to plan things out the night before), and get on top of a few things.
There are still a few emails from coaching clients and others that I have to respond to, but THAT can wait until I’ve had some sleep :)
Until next time…happy reading!
All the best,
Matt Karamazov
