Sunday is for Strategizing

đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.
I don’t want you to think that I’m “anti” rest.
I do take the occasional day off, and I do take vacations.
But I’ve also built the kind of life I don’t need a vacation from, and that makes all the difference.
It’s why I can have a perfectly restful and re-energizing Sunday and spend it strategizing about the week ahead.
No, the MONTH ahead. The YEAR ahead.
I did some big, long-term thinking today, and I used the day that most people set aside for recovering from hangovers to set myself up to WIN in 2024.
Oh man, I wish I could tell you about the business deal I just made too. But I’m still firming up details, so instead I’ll tell you about the book I started reading today:
Choose Your Enemies Wisely, by Patrick Bet-David.
Having absolutely LOVED his previous book, Your Next Five Moves, I knew I had to read this one too.
I’m only chapter 3 right now (having finished Time Magic before that, a book that’s good, but not great), but choosing my enemies and bringing more EMOTION into my business activities is going to be something I’ll think about doing more often.
Leave it to a more cerebral person like me to “think about” bringing more emotion into his life haha.
But Bet-David makes some excellent points.
We NEED enemies in order for ourselves to become heroes.
He doesn’t state it in exactly those terms (at least not so far), but we need something to struggle against, some meaningful opposing force that causes us to rally our energies and bring out the best, most competitive aspects of ourselves.
So that’s how I spent this Sunday:
Reading, thinking, strategizing, game planning about business, and trying to decide which enemies I want to pick to add fuel to my competitive fire.
I do really want to tell you about this new high-profile coaching client I just signed too, but that’ll have to wait until it’s more official.
I’ll give you a massive hint though.
He’s got around 50,000 YouTube subscribers and shoots some insanely valuable business content from his apartment in Dubai.
Some of you might be able to guess from just that, which means I’ve said too much. So that’s it from me today!
As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…

Great day today. Got plenty done, set myself up REALLY well for the week ahead, and I’m ready to smash Monday with full force.
Like I mentioned, I signed a great new client (who’s going to be AWESOME to work with, just a great, hardworking, decent guy who I know is going to do well), and I just feel good about my whole direction.
Will have to get to sleep now though if I don’t want to be a wreck tomorrow!
So until next time…happy reading!
All the best,
Matt Karamazov
