The Bar for "Excellent" is So Low It's on the Ground

📚 Hey! Time to win.
"If you're willing to suck at anything for 100 days in a row, you can beat most people at most things. The bar for excellence has never been so low. Most of your "competition" quits after the first sign of difficulty because they've known what hard feels like."
The bar for excellence is basically laying on the ground, guys. All you have to do is step right over it.
Even the fact that you're reading a newsletter like this, that you're putting in the work (daily) to get just 1% better each day, means that you're ALREADY ahead of the vast majority of people who will never even get out of the starting gate.
But those people are not your competition.
They're not your competition because they haven't even STARTED.
They'll NEVER be able to compete with you because they'll never START.
I'm a firm believer in the idea that you can get virtually anything in life that you really, really, REALLY want. If the results have yet to arrive, part of it is just about waiting for the world to catch up to you.
Success takes time, and even if you take positive daily ACTIONS, the results of those actions can take a while to appear.
But the other thing to consider when you're waiting for the results to arrive (and I hope you're not just sitting around waiting!) is whether your work ethic matches the level of your ambitions. Do you DESIRE what you say you want?
There's no shame in abandoning a goal that no longer serves you. But if you really, really, REALLY wanted it, you'd do whatever it takes. I believe in you (even when you don't).

Slept in a little bit today, but I guess my body needed it, so that’s not the worst thing. Once I DID get up, I ended making major progress on several revenue-generating tasks, so that’s definitely not the worst thing!
Tomorrow I’m going to get up earlier though - I have to, because of all the filming, editing, and publishing I have to get done! But solid effort today. Talk soon!
