📚 Hey! Time to win.

There's a proverb that makes its way into my consciousness at least twice a day, and it's this one:

That is so painfully, self-evidently, crushingly true. So many times I'll get to the end of my day with less time than I need to get everything done, and I can usually trace it back to me wasting time earlier in the day. Or getting up late, etc.

I've been getting up earlier and earlier lately, and it's UNBELIEVABLE what a massive difference it makes. That, and just not wasting time!!!

You guys know I'm obsessed with time, but even I forget sometimes.

We need to be reminded more than we need to be taught, and every time I remember this proverb I make sure to take back my morning, my afternoon, and every moment leading up to my final one before I lay my head down to sleep.

If you're constantly pressed for time and can never seem to get everything done (and of course I'm by no means perfect in this regard), look for that missing time in the morning.

Take it back it - seize it - and never let wander off again.

Pretty solid day today! Didn’t get as much reading done as I had wanted, but I got a handle on some other things, specifically the content side for November. I’ve set myself quite a demanding schedule the next few weeks, but mostly I’m just REALLY looking forward to locking in, ignoring pretty much everybody, and getting down to work.

Gonna make some BIG progress between now and Christmas Eve, which is when my current sprint ends.

But hey, it’s 4:15AM here right now and I’m going to bed!
