📚 Hey, good morning! Time to win.

Today was a rollercoaster, let me tell you.

I must have thought I was Master of the Universe about 7-8 times today, but then I’ve also had my hubris absolutely shredded at least that many times as well.

In the same day! Literally within minutes of each other!

Entrepreneurship, man…wow. No other ride like it.

It can get difficult to tell whether or not you’re making progress, or how far you have left to go. Especially when you’re on social media all day like I am, watching everybody else’s highlight reels.

And since I always try to learn from people who are 2-10 steps ahead of me, I basically get fed videos of business owners bringing down 10s of thousands of dollars a month, while working 4 hours a day, and…and…and…

But I also know that the only difference between me and them is that they’ve been doing it longer than I have. They never gave up. They persisted, way past the point where it made sense on paper for them to do so.

They probably also focused on being DIRECTIONALLY correct, rather than having everything figured out from the start.

They moved in the right DIRECTION, building and learning and innovating as they went. And then they just didn’t stop.

Another thing they probably did was focus on the GOOD, on what was going RIGHT in their business, rather than the disasters.

I’m doing this too.

Obviously, I’m not going anywhere. There’s no “quit” in me, and there can’t be in you either, if you want to make it in business.

And plenty of great things today happened too!

For instance, I received this wonderful testimonial on Instagram today from one of the members of The Competitive Advantage on Skool:

But today also reinforced that I’m not NEARLY good enough yet.

Yeah, I’ve read a lot of books (1,282 at last count), sure.

And don’t get me wrong: reading is essential for those who wish to rise above the ordinary (I think that was Jim Rohn who said that).

But I think any coach worth their clients realizes that learning never stops, and if YOU stop growing, your clients will stop growing as well.

To sum up, wherever you are right now is exactly where you need to be. There are lessons there that you can extract. And you won’t be able to move on until you learn them.
