đź“š Hey, good morning! Time to win.
Some books you just never want to be seen reading in public.
Awaken the Giant Within, by Tony Robbins comes to mind. Great book, horrible title. Or at least an embarrassing title.
These two I just finished are right up there though:
The one on the left is one of my favorite reads of 2024 so far (they’re my 20th and 21st Finished Books, respectively), and the title is somewhat misleading.
It’s more about defending yourself against intimidation - in kinda the same way that The 48 Laws of Power is a book that can be used for good or evil.
Winning Through Intimidation is an absolute classic from 1973 that I had honestly never even heard of! Me, the guy who’s read 1,200+ books. I had no idea this one even existed or that it was supposedly among the bestselling motivational books of all time.
I’m a convert now, though! What a book!
Speaking of converts, I also really, really enjoyed How to Start a Cult, by Jody Raynsford.
I’ll be sharing my complete notes on that one for sure (here, on YouTube, Instagram, etc.), but I just finished it a few hours ago and so I still have about an hour or so of work before my notes are all cleaned up and ready to share with you guys.
In case it’s not immediately obvious, the book is about how to strengthen your brand and the connection you have with your followers and subscribers (I guess that makes me your cult leader hehe).
It’s also HILARIOUS, useful, practical, enjoyable…I loved it.
Looking forward to testing out some of the strategies on you guys :)
As always, at the bottom of this email I’ll lay out everything I did today to move closer to my Ultimate Vision. This is to keep me accountable and to show you that I’m working as hard as I’m encouraging you to work…
Forward this to a friend you think would love this post!

Decently productive day today, but I’m STILL not at the level I know I can achieve if I dial in a few more things re: my process, my sleep, my organization, etc. I can get there, but it’s not going to happen by doing the same things that got me to where I am now.
Tomorrow, though, I’m actually taking most of the day off to enjoy my favorite day of the year…St. Patrick’s Day!!!
Seriously. It’s my favorite day of the year. Better than Christmas, better than my birthday, better than…name it, and I still prefer St. Patrick’s Day.
Which is weird, because I’m not even a big drinker! Sure, I’ll have a FEW tomorrow, but not more than 3-4 drinks all day, and I definitely won’t be getting out of hand.
I have too much to do on Monday! Haha!
But, seeing as I will be out all day enjoying myself, finding some cool spots to read a book and drink beer and listen to music and hang out with my friends I never get to see anymore, I won’t be sending a daily email tomorrow. It’ll be the first day I “missed” since I started sending these daily accountability emails!
But, enjoy your day, drink responsibly if you’re drinking, and I’ll be back on Monday night/Tuesday morning!
Until next time…happy reading!
All the best,
Matt Karamazov
