I took yesterday off to recharge - it didn’t really work haha. Still feeling quite behind, like I’m letting quite a few people down, even though no one has actually SAID that.
Just one of those feelings that’s synonymous with entrepreneurship, I guess.
But today I want to share with you my notes from an amazing book about going ALL-IN on your dream.
It’s called Burn the Boats, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Easily one of the best books I’ve read all year (out of 51 so far), and I came away with 6 pages of notes.
But basically, Matt was a high-school dropout, caring for his sick mother in Queens, did whatever it took - and I mean WHATEVER it took - to rise up and succeed, and he ended up becoming an investor on Shark Tank, a lecturer at Harvard Business School, etc. etc.
I’m underselling his story, by the way. It’s far more incredible than I’m making it sound. Obviously I’d recommend reading the whole thing for yourself, but I hope you find my notes valuable (they’re free, just in a Google Doc for you).

Strange, yet interesting, fun day. I’m not entirely sure what to make of it, honestly. Feels like I worked all day and got nothing done, but of course I did. Maybe I’m being too hard on myself. Or not hard ENOUGH haha.
I have no reason to complain though, lots of things are going great, and August is going to be MASSIVELY productive, not to mention profitable.
But hey, it’s 6:14AM here right now and I’m going to bed!
